Tracking Tool

As soon as you trust us with your repatriation, we will give you a reference number which you can use to track its progress. We detail every stage of the process so you always know what is happening. You can see an example here.

Repatriation to PolandPoland Flag


We work with all Funeral Directors in Poland, providing a speedy yet professional service. We are usually able to inform you of the flight details within two hours, allowing you to book your own flight tickets on the same flight if desired.

Our full international repatriation service to Poland includes:

  • Advice on all aspects of repatriation relating to:
    • UK authorities
    • Polish authorities
    • All major airlines
  • Preparation of the deceased
  • Provision of a coffin conforming to international shipping regulations (choices available)
  • Documentation delivery service for Coroners 'out of England'
  • Obtaining relevant permit to travel (of the Deceased) from Poland
  • Freight booking services, airway bill production and booking of family tickets (special rates usually apply)
  • Collection and delivery service throughout the UK 24 hrs per day, 7 days week.
  • Full use of our newly refurbished Chapel of Rest

The Prices for our repatriation services to Poland are fully itemised. You can take advantage of any part of the services you wish.

Following is a breakdown of some of the typical services we provide to funeral directors and private clients.

Repatriation Service, Removal, Embalming, Coffin,
Dressing, Embassy Visit.

Freedom from infection certificate
Air tray to protect coffin during flight  
Transfer to a London Airport                         
Air freight to Poland (subject to change - as 19th Sept 2011)
Total cost of the Repatriation to Poland £2275.00

NB: Many of our Clients' appointed Polish Funeral Directors arrange to collect the Deceased from our premises in Warrington, Cheshire, or  Sydenham, London, and transport the Deceased by road to Poland. This option can cost less in total and also be more convenient.

We will gladly take instructions from our Client or directly from any Polish Funeral Director.

 If an overseas Funeral Director collects the deceased from our premises to return to Poland by road the total price will be £950.00.

  • Polished Oak veneered coffin fitted with three pairs of brassed bar handles
  • Interior padded and lined with satin side sheets and ruffle (with matching dressing gown robe if required)

Additional Fees

Local Removal 25 miles - inclusive in our charges. Excess mileage, priced per mile.
Local Church Service prior to the Repatriation - Hearse only and Funeral Staff. Hearse direct to Church for service. £175.00
Limousine to convey mourners from private address to Church Service for two hours. from £250.00

Special Procedure

A permission issued by the local authorities in Poland (STAROSTWO or PRESIDENT of the Town or City) allowing for the body to be transported to Poland and buried at a designated place is always required.

Such permission may is obtained by applying directly to the relevant authorities in Poland, depending on the intended place of burial, via the family representative in Poland or most usually via the Polish funeral director.

We will then deliver this, payment (£47.00), and all other required documents to the Consular Section of the Polish Embassy in London to obtain the permission to allow transportation.
This will then be submitted to the Polish Customs Officer.
