Repatriation from Australia, to the United Kingdom (UK)

Repatriation of the Deceased from Australia and in this example from Melbourne is relatively straight forward.

As of February 2019 the approximate cost of the Repatriation from Melbourne to the United Kingdom would be in the region of £5,900. This is a guide cost only and a full quotation will be given on a case by case basis.

To cover:

• Death Certificate
• Fee for documents for transportation
• Translation and Legalisation of documents
• Sealing of coffin by Customs Official
• Basic zinc lined coffin
• Transportation of Deceased from Place of Death too airport.
• Air flight charges - (Flight weight up to 130KG)
• Sanitization/Embalming of Deceased
• UK Border clearance.

The coffin used can be used for Burial in the UK or Cremation if the Zinc lining is removed by the receiving Funeral Director or by us.

This would include all costs to the United Kingdom and collection from Heathrow Airport to our London Mortuary.

Other Airports such as Glasgow, Liverpool or Manchester can be used and should not effect the cost much.
