Sometimes the legal and regulatory complexity of a repatriation can seem a little daunting, so we try to keep things as simple as possible.
We breakdown every element of our pricing so you can see exactly what you are paying for and, should you decide to entrust us with your repatriation, you will be looked after by one named member of our staff throughout. You will also have access to our exclusive Repatriation Progress Tracking tool, making it easy to follow every stage of your loved one's journey to their final place of rest.
As part of our repatriation service to Slovakia, we will obtain the necessary permits that allows transportation of the Deceased from the United Kingdom to Slovakia.
As soon as all relevant paperwork is completed we aim to inform you of the flight details within two hours, allowing you to book your own flight tickets on the same flight if desired.
To repatriate a Deceased to Slovakia is not as simple as some other countries in the region. It is very important that we have the Deceased' Slovakian ID Card.
No airlines fly human remains directly to Slovakia so the Deceased has to be transported to either Budapest Airport in Hungary or Vienna Airport in Austria, then in turn by road to Slovakia to their final resting place. This final journey can be performed by the Funeral Director in Slovakia or, if they are reluctant to perform this duty, which in our experience is usually the case, we can arrange our own agent to do this.
We have a member of staff that speaks Slovak that can talk to your local Funeral Director if language is a problem.
